What a beautiful two days we had on the MSU campus this past weekend. We arrived on Friday afternoon and the skies were blue, the sun was shining and the temperature was a perfect 73 degrees. We quickly set up our tailgate in our usual spot and spent the time before the game so happy to be back at it for another football season. We had delicious food as usual; burgers, brats, hot dogs, greek salad, potato salad, potato skins, layered mexican dip and yummy desserts. There were a lot of students that stopped by and we are always happy to feed them.
The game was fun and we were happy with a win, even though much improvement will be needed for our next matchup against Notre Dame. But, I was happy to be back in Spartan Stadium and singing the fight song along with the marching band.
We spent the night at the on campus hotel (Kellogg Center) and woke up Saturday morning to another beautiful day. It was way too nice outside to head right home, so after breakfast and checking out, we took a walk around campus. We enjoyed the morning, taking photos at many of the landmark locations. It is and always will be a special place to us.
Happy Monday!

ReplyDeleteSo Furman held their own I think. They are a tiny school to be playing you all, so I'm glad it was a game : )
